This past weekend my friend Kirsti, who blogs over at Lovely La La Land and lives about 1.5 hours away, was in town for a business conference, and she was able to spend some time with me!  You can read about how we met over here, and her photos from our antiquing adventure here!  This photo is one from last year… and I didn’t think to get one this past trip.  Isn’t she pretty!?

I really like this room in the store, there are tons of old tools… makes me think of more projects!

We took a photo with this clay pot, simply because it was huge!  I had never seen pottery that was this large, I believe 30 gallons.  First I took the photo with Kirsti standing next to it, and then she reminded me that since it would look more to scale with me… so we did.  It was funny.

I really liked this ship, my grandpa always had ships in bottles and it reminded me of him.

Here was a necklace I liked… it wasn’t on a chain, more like a collar.

Since I love books, I thought these little shakers were fun!

This was allllllmost purchased, but it went back to sitting on the floor.  At 8.50, it was a pretty good deal!

This is for my hubs, because he like Garfield.  😛

Cute little piano.

Who didn’t have a cabbage patch doll when they were little???

Beloved AK.

Carnival glass is so pretty!!

Another little piano.

Well thats all for now folks, just wanted to share some little items that I thought were fun.  Nothing to exciting. 🙂

The best thing ever.

(Except not really.  But for right now, yes, the best thing ever)

This video is one of the  few things that makes me truly laugh every time I watch it.   If you don’t laugh, I am sorry.  Really sorry.

September 12, 2011

Today I am having a grocery shopping treat! Getting ready for a homey week with a weekend trip planned to MN. Joe’s brother Ty is getting married, and Peter (his middle brother) is flying in from LA for it. Family is so important and God really has blessed me with a very caring group! I am excited to welcome Mary, Tyler, and Noah into the family. We are also excited to see Joe’s grandparents and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Now, I am going to leave the wifi of Starbucks and head off to do my shopping!

Blessings, and I’ll be sharing my library sale finds here very soon. Have a wonderful Monday morning!20110912-104055.jpg

harmonize, and I hope that you are blessed.

Hope you are having a marvelous Friday!

I am going to the local library’s used book sale,
where everything is a quarter… Hope to get some
great books!!
