Easter Brunch recap….

April 21, 2010

I just love Easter.

What a wonderful day to gather together and sing praises to our Saviour,

who arose from the dead.

Without the Resurrection, there would be no salvation from eternal damnation.

~~~~~
On a different note, I love the food that gets served and the wonderful time the fellowship after Easter Service.
Here is us on out first Easter together, don’t we look cute and matchy matchy??? 🙂
Without further adieu, I present brunch.
It consisted of:
Scrambled Eggs
(Weird focus, I know)
Fruit Salad
Homemade Hash Potatos
Wheat, Yeast, Gluten, and Dairy Free Waffles with Pecans
~We topped them with:
Homemade Lemon Curd…well I did,
Powdered Sugar,
Ice Cream…Joe did,
and Pecans.
Here we are.. 🙂
Here is my darling husband in the kitchen with the spread….
a close up of the foodiness…
~~you can see the Lemon Curd in the right corner~~
We also had sausage and oven cooked bacon.
Here is Joe’s plate…….
We were able to use our two china settings that we received as wedding gifts,
I just love the French Garden place settings.
And here is mine!
Quick photo, as you can tell.
And, I couldn’t go without leaving you a photo (courtesy of the Joe man) of me, sleeping off my fullness…
😀
Attractive, no?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I believe that we have decided to make brunch an Easter tradition in the Joe Goeman family.

What did you eat, and what are your Easter traditions, if you have any?

God Bless!
