1000 Gifts – My Thankfulness List
Lately, I have been apt to be discouraged in my heart for no apparent reason, and to combat this, I want to record things that I am grateful for.
1000 gifts in 6 months, which comes out to 5 gifts a day.
Nothing is too small or too large, everything is a gift from the Father above.
James 1:17
Every good and perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights,
who does not change like shifting shadows.
What a blessing to know that even though our days may be ever changing, our Father never changes.
- a home to live in
- plenty of food that I can eat
- rain that falls and keeps the grass growing
- ever changing fall colors
- a husband that is there when I am feeling sad

I am thankful for a daughter who loves Jesus.
Thankful for a job. For having great grandchildren and fairly good health, a vehicle to drive, tv to watch, computer to use, co-workers to engage with and friends. so much more.
